We believe it's important to preserve and protect the history of Stewart! Recently, this 1938 Ford Fire Truck has been brought out of hiding for us all to appreciate and enjoy. Visit Stewart's Old Firehall at 603 Columbia Street and take a ride back in time.

Next to the Stewart Visitor Centre is our local estuary and boardwalk. Starting from 5th Avenue and stretching 805 meters (278 feet) across the tide flats to Highway 37A that connects us to Hyder, AK, enjoy a beautiful walk full of breathtaking views, interesting bird species and plants. With the many conveniently located picnic tables and garbage disposals, it is also the perfect spot to rest after hiking, or have a picnic and just take in the scenery.
